OUR STORY
Our founders met during a venture capital residency program where they discovered their shared passion for building developer tools that challenge the status quo. United by their vision to democratize access to previously untapped information, they founded LYRASENSE with a clear purpose: to empower data scientists in harnessing the full potential of satellite data, enabling them to create beautiful interactive applications that leverage this wealth of information.
Together, they bring over 20 years of combined expertise spanning computational optimization, astrophysics, space technology, electrical engineering, and software development.
This interdisciplinary approach, combined with their strong conviction, gives them a unique perspective in addressing the challenges of making satellite data more accessible and actionable for everyone.
BEHIND THE NAME
The name LYRASENSE is inspired by the Lyra constellation - a prominent and visually striking star pattern in the night sky depicted as a harp or lyre, symbolic of harmony. The name embodies both the constellation's beauty and its association with harmony and sense-making. Just as a musician plucks the strings of a lyre to produce harmonious sounds, LYRASENSE brings disparate data points into alignment to generate meaningful insights.
